These are times for students to get on the apparatus and practice the skills they already know.. There will be no instruction during these sessions. Slots are limited so sign up right away to reserve your apparatus.

Harness and Wall Dance

Thursday, December 28th; 2023 7-9pm

  • Instructor: Vanessa Waggoner

  • Cost: $50

  • You may have seen the dancing wall act in our recent SPACE show or watched awesome videos of people dancing on the side of buildings. Well now you can try out this crazy cool form of vertical dance. This workshop will cover some basics of working in a harness and learning choreography on a horizontal surface. No experience required

Aerial Fitness - Back in the Air

Wednesday, January 3, 2024; 10-11:30am AND/ OR

Thursday, January 4, 2024; 6-7:30pm

  • Instructor: Katie Geary

  • Cost: $35 (each date) 

  • After the holidays it is easy to feel  a little out of shape after all the great food and time off. This workshop will get you off the couch and back in the air with a great workout on the aerial apparatus, cool down and a deep stretch. 

Aerial Yoga

Friday, January 5th; 6-7:30pm

  • Instructor: Sarah Olson

  • Cost: $40 (each date) 

  • This class is a fun way to work through some traditional yoga poses using the silks hammock, to help with support through the poses. This will help increase flexibility and balance. No previous experience is required. 

Single Point Trapeze

Friday, January 19th, 2024; 6:45-8:45pm

  • Instructor: Vanessa Waggoner

  • Cost: $50

  • Sometimes called the “Dance Trapeze,” the single point trapeze is rigged to a single point with the ability to spin, which lends itself to very interesting visuals. This class will teach hangs, wraps and poses in a choreography on the single point trapeze. Prerequisite: Passed Intro to Aerial

Aerial Dance

  • Explore the use of single point trapeze, aerial silks and aerial hoop as we connect our movement on the ground seamlessly and gracefully with our movement in the air. Intro to Aerial Skills required

Adding Grace to Aerial

Friday, February 23, 2024; 6:30-8pm

  • Instructor: Vanessa Waggoner

  • Cost: $40

  • Do you feel pretty confident in your skills in the air, but struggle with feeling awkward in their poses and transitions. “What do I do with my arms?” you might ask. This workshop will give lots of ideas, tips and practice on how to make your movements purposeful and smooth in the air. 

German Wheel - Intermediate

Sunday, April 21 2024; 10am-12pm 

  • Instructor: Carly Schuna

  • Ages 11 and Up

  • Cost: $75 ($140 for both Saturday and Sunday workshops) 

  • Welcome back to the German wheel! In this intensive continuing workshop, you will advance the skills you already have by learning variations on rocking and cartwheels and by advancing your sit rock, stomach rock, and spiral. Get a chance to try some entirely new moves, too!

  • A prerequisite is our Beginning German Wheel workshop or equivalent prior experience.

  • Those under 5' and over 6' may not be able to do every move, but modifications will be provided.

German Wheel- Mixed Levels

Saturday, April 20, 2024; 10am-12pm

  • Instructor: Carly Schuna

  • Ages 11 and Up

  • Cost: $75 ($140 for both Saturday and Sunday workshops) 

  • Guest Instructor: Carly Schuna. Perfect for students who took the intro workshop, who have some prior experience, or who prefer to learn at a faster pace, this workshop will show you how to progress the fundamentals of German wheel and explore more challenging variations on beginner skills. We'll cover basic flips, straps moves beyond cartwheels, and some spiral. Come ready to work hard and have tons of fun! All heights welcome. 

  • Those under 5' and over 6' may not be able to do every move, but modifications will be provided.

Hula Hoop

Friday, March 8, 2024 6-7:30pm

  • Instructor: Lulu Geary

  • Cost: $40

  • Hula hooping is not only a playground diversion. It is a beautiful and challenging art form. This workshop will teach some foundation hooping skills like “illusions,” “Crown rolls,” “chase,” and more. No prerequisites. 

Unicycle Creativity

Friday, March 8, 2024; 7:30-9pm

  • Instructor: Eleanor Aughey

  • Cost: $40

  • This workshop will explore some creative elements like spinning the unicycle, balancing it, and timing with music, and incorporate those skills into a short choreography. Open to beginning and intermediate levels.  

Sports Acrobatics Partnering

Saturday, March 9; 9:30-11am

  • Guest Instructors: Benji Damti & Zoe Paull

  • Cost: $40

  • Sport acrobatics uses strength and agility to create amazing poses with human bodies. Learn to safely share and support each other’s weight in some foundational acro partnering skills. Partner encouraged, but not required. 

Handstand Clinic

Saturday, March 9; 11-12:30pm

  • Guest Instructors: Benji Damti & Zoe Paull

  • Cost: $40

  • Handstand basics. Developing the strength and technique needed to progress your handstands and build a strong foundation. 

Aerial Anatomy and Injury Prevention

Friday, March 22, 2024; 6:30-8:30pm

  • Instructor: Vanessa Waggoner

  • Cost: $50

  • Description: Your body is your tool for aerial and you need to know how to use it and how NOT to use it in order to have a long lasting aerial practice. This workshop will give you a great working understanding  how your muscles are working (or should be working) in the air and how to protect them from injury

Try Trapeze and Silks

Ever wanted to experience that thrill of dangling from the ceiling? Now you can try it out! This is a great opportunity to grab a friend and try out one of these fun and challenging circus apparatus.

All skills will be spotted and low to the ground.
